【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자= 대구시는 ‘위기가구 종합지원 대책’에 따라 공공요금(전기·가스·수도) 2개월 이상 중복 연체자 중 위기의심가구를 조사해 963가구에 대해 복지서비스를 지원했다고 12일 밝혔다.
이번 963가구에 대한 상세 지원 내역을 살펴보면 기초생활수급자 책정 100가구, 긴급복지지원 74가구, 법정차상위책정 18가구, 희망가족돌봄급여 등 기타공공급여 188가구, 민간서비스지원 583가구이다.
또 1,305가구에 대해서는 생계 곤란 시 행정복지센터를 방문해 급여를 신청할 것을 안내했으며 미거주, 소득 및 재산 초과 등의 사유로 782가구는 서비스에서 제외됐다.
대구시의 지역 특화형 위기정보를 활용한 복지위기가구 발굴사업은 전국 최초로 지역의 생활밀착형 공공서비스 제공 기관과의 업무협약을 통해 복지부보다 2개월에서 5개월까지 더 빨리 위기의심가구를 발굴할 수 있는 체계를 구축했다.
사업시행 초기에는 관련 기관으로부터 정보를 제공받아 위기의심가구를 분석하는데 1개월 정도의 시간이 걸렸으나, 3차례 운영을 통해 절차 개선 및 지리정보체계(GIS)를 활용한 분석으로 복지위기의심가구 정보를 15일 이내에 읍·면·동에 제공함으로써 신속한 조사와 지원이 이루어지도록 했다.
정의관 대구시 복지국장은 “복지위기가구 지원에 있어 가장 중요한 일은 신속하게 위기의심가구를 찾아내는 것으로, 대구시는 공공서비스 제공기관과의 협업을 통해 신속 발굴체계를 구축한 만큼 앞으로 신속한 조사를 통해 위기가구를 더 두텁게 지원하기 위한 노력을 하겠다.”고 말했다.
