【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=한국국학진흥원(원장 정종섭)은 경상북도가 시행한 ‘2024년도(2023년 실적) 출자출연기관 경영실적평가’에서 ‘S등급’을 받아 지난해에 이어 2년 연속 ‘최우수기관’에 선정됐다고 8일 밝혔다.

올해 경영실적평가는 경상북도 20개 출자출연기관을 대상으로 경영관리, 경영성과 등 2개 부문 17개 세부분야로 나누어 진행됐으며 한국국학진흥원은 도정 정책 방향에 맞는 사업 대응 및 협력을 통해 다방면에서 이루어낸 성과를 크게 인정받았다.

또한 기관장의 책임경영과 도정 기여도, 중장기 전략 및 혁신과제 수행을 평가하는 기관장 평가에서도 평가대상 기관장들 가운데 유일하게 최고 등급을 받았다.

한국국학진흥원은 무선식별인식(RFID)시스템, 인공지능 자동번역 시스템, 민간기록문화 통합관리시스템 구축을 본격화함으로써 국학의 디지털화를 단계적으로 추진하고, ‘국학30비전’브랜드 사업을 통해 국학의 대중화와 국학진흥기관으로서의 전문성을 한층 끌어올렸다.

특히 초등학교 저학년을 대상으로 한 ‘늘봄학교’운영으로 저출생 극복을 위한 정부와 지자체의 돌봄정책을 지원하는 한편, 실버·중장년·청년 일자리 창출에도 기여하여 도정 발전과 공공기관으로서 사회적 역할도 충실히 수행했다는 평가다.

정종섭 한국국학진흥원장은 “급변하는 대내외 환경변화에 선제적으로 대응하며, 임직원 모두가 맡은 자리에서 최선을 다해 이룬 성과”라면서, “앞으로도 끊임없는 경영혁신을 통해 K-컬처의 글로컬화를 선도하는 기관으로 자리매김하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
