【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=한국국학진흥원(원장 정종섭) 직원 180명은 최근 본격적인 영농철을 맞아 관내 도산면, 와룡면 등을 찾아 농촌 일손 돕기를 실시했다고 27일 밝혔다.

특히 코로나19의 국내·외 확산 등으로 농번기 농가 인력 부족 문제가 심각해지고 있는 요즘 일손을 구하지 못해 곤란에 처해있는 농가를 중심으로 일손을 지원했다.

농촌 일손돕기는 코로나19 상황을 감안하여 전직원을 3개 팀으로 나누어 부서별로 도산면 동부리 및 태자리 과수원에 사과 적과, 와룡면 감애리 사과 적과 및 주변 환경 정비 등을 시행했다.

도움을 받은 농가(이신형, 도산면)에서는 코로나19에 따른 외국인 노동자 부족으로 농촌일손 가뭄에 시달리는 농촌에 큰 도움이 되었다고 고마움을 전했다.

한국국학진흥원 관계자는 매년 봄·가을 주변에 일손이 부족한 농가를 적극 돕겠다고 밝혔다.
