【브레이크뉴스 울릉】전종환 기자=울릉군(군수 남한권)은 지난 14일 군청에서 2025년 미국어학연수 참가 학생·학부모들을 대상으로 간담회를 실시했다고 17일 밝혔다.

간담회에서는 홈스테이 및 미국 학교생활, 현장학습 등 연수 일정에 대한 소개와 학생·학부모들의 궁금한 사항에 대해 질의응답하는 시간을 가졌고, 이어서 울릉119안전센터에서 방문하여 안전교육을 실시했다.

이번 2025년 미국어학연수(공식명칭 : Tucson-Korea Ambassador Program)는 지난 7월 선발시험을 거쳐 울릉중학교 2학년생 20명이 참가하며, 내년 1월 17일(금) 인천공항에서 출국하여 투산시에서 3주간 현지 가정 홈스테이, 미국 정규수업 참여, 현지 명소 견학 등 연수 일정이 진행될 예정이다.

남한권 군수는 “남은 시간 어학연수 준비 잘 하시고, 현지에 가서 적극적으로 활동하고 미국 친구들과 친분을 쌓는 등 다양한 경험을 하고 돌아왔으면 좋겠다.”고 말했다.

 Ulleung-gun Holds Meeting for American Language Study (TKAP)

Ulleung-gun (Governor Nam Han-kwon) announced on the 17th that it held a meeting for students and parents participating in the 2025 American Language Study at the county office on the 14th.

They will depart from Incheon Airport on January 17th (Friday) next year and will spend 3 weeks in Tucson City, participating in a local homestay, regular classes in the United States, and visiting local attractions.

The South Korean military commander said, “I hope you will prepare well for your language training during the remaining time, go there, participate actively, and make friends with American friends, and have various experiences and come back.”
