이번 사업의 지원 대상은 부모 중 한 명 이상이 상주시에 거주하며, 막내 자녀가 19세 미만인 2명 이상의 자녀를 양육하는 다자녀 가정이다. 지원 신청은 3월 4일부터 11월 15일까지 경북 저출생극복 통합 접수 시스템(https://happybus.or.kr)을 통해 온라인으로 가능하다.

신청 시 구비서류(주민등록등본, 가족관계증명서 등)를 온라인으로 첨부한 후, 10일 이내에 개별 문자로 선정 결과를 통보받을 수 있다. 선정된 가구는 쿠폰 지급일로부터 11월 30일까지 경북고향장터(사이소)와 사이소 쇼핑몰 내 ‘명실상주몰’에서 쿠폰을 사용할 수 있다.

지원되는 쿠폰은 예산 소진 시까지 선착순으로 지급되며, 자녀 수에 따라 2자녀 가구는 5만 원, 3자녀 가구는 7만 원, 4자녀 이상 가구는 10만 원이 지원된다. 상주시는 이번 사업을 통해 약 1,770가구가 혜택을 받을 것으로 예상하고 있다.
