【브레이크뉴스 구미】이성현 기자=국립금오공과대학교(총장 김상호)는 RISE사업에 참여하는 기업 대표 및 임직원 등 관계자 100여 명이 참석한 가운데 산학 네트워킹 워크숍을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
국립금오공대 RISE사업단(단장 권오형) 주관으로 열린 이번 워크숍은 지난 2일부터 이틀간 경주 더케이호텔에서 진행됐다. 워크숍은 사업 참여 기업과의 지속적인 협력 체계 강화를 위해 마련됐으며, ▲2025년도 RISE사업 성과 공유 ▲2026년도 사업 추진 계획 안내 ▲참석자 의견 수렴 및 토의 ▲산학연 네트워킹과 화합의 장 등으로 구성됐다.
권오형 RISE사업단장은 이날 2025년도 주요 추진 실적과 성과를 공유하고, 올해 사업 추진 방향과 핵심 계획을 설명했다. 또한 참석자들로부터 현장의 다양한 의견을 수렴해 향후 사업 운영에 적극 반영하겠다는 뜻을 밝혔다.
이어진 네트워킹 시간에는 기업과 대학, 연구기관 간 교류를 활성화하고 조직문화의 중요성에 대한 이해를 높이는 한편, 소통과 협력을 강화하는 방안에 대해 논의하는 시간이 마련됐다.
권오형 단장은 “이번 워크숍은 RISE사업단과 참여 기관 간 산학협력 네트워크를 강화하고, 지·산·학·연 간 정보 교류와 협업을 활성화하기 위해 마련됐다”며 “참여 가족회사와 산학협력 기관들이 함께 상생 발전 방안을 논의하며 사업 방향에 대한 이해와 공감대를 형성하는 뜻깊은 자리였다”고 말했다.
한편 이번 워크숍을 통해 도출된 다양한 의견과 건의사항은 2026년도 RISE사업 세부 추진계획 수립에 적극 반영될 예정이다. RISE사업단은 이를 토대로 참여 기업과의 지속적인 소통과 협력 체계를 강화하고, 중·장기적인 산학협력 성과 창출 기반을 확대해 나갈 계획이다.

Kumoh National Institute of Technology (KIT) (President Sang-ho Kim) announced that it held an industry-academia networking workshop, attended by approximately 100 representatives and employees of companies participating in the RISE project.
The workshop, hosted by KIT's RISE Project Team (Director Oh-hyung Kwon), took place at The K Hotel in Gyeongju for two days, starting on the 2nd. Designed to strengthen ongoing collaboration with participating companies, the workshop included sharing the 2025 RISE project's achievements, outlining the 2026 project plan, gathering and discussing participant feedback, and providing a forum for industry-academia-research networking and collaboration.
Director Oh-hyung Kwon of the RISE Project Team shared key project achievements and outcomes for 2025 and outlined the project's direction and key plans for this year. He also expressed his commitment to actively incorporating diverse feedback from attendees into future project operations.
The networking session that followed discussed ways to promote exchanges between companies, universities, and research institutes, increase understanding of the importance of organizational culture, and enhance communication and cooperation.
Director Kwon Oh-hyung stated, "This workshop was designed to strengthen the industry-academia collaboration network between the RISE Project Team and participating institutions, and to promote information exchange and collaboration across industry, academia, and research." He added, "It was a meaningful opportunity for participating family companies and industry-academia collaboration organizations to discuss mutually beneficial development plans and build understanding and consensus on the project's direction."
Meanwhile, the diverse opinions and suggestions derived from this workshop will be actively incorporated into the development of the RISE Project's detailed implementation plan for 2026. Based on this, the RISE Project Team plans to strengthen ongoing communication and collaboration with participating companies and expand the foundation for generating mid- to long-term industry-academia collaboration outcomes.
