【브레이크뉴스 경산】이성현 기자=경산시(시장 조현일)는 11일 국회의원회관 제4간담회실에서 조지연 국회의원과 간담회를 열고 2027년도 정부예산 확보 방안과 지역 주요 현안사업에 대해 논의했다.

이번 간담회는 경산시의 미래 성장 동력이 될 핵심 사업들이 정부예산안에 반영될 수 있도록 국회와의 협력체계를 강화하고 국비 확보 전략을 마련하기 위해 마련됐다.

이날 간담회에서는 정부의 지역발전 정책 방향에 맞춰 인공지능(AI) 기반 미래 산업 육성, 재난안전 인프라 구축, 생활밀착형 사회간접자본(SOC) 확충 등 주요 현안사업의 추진 현황을 공유하고 협력 방안을 논의했다.

특히 △대경권 AX 혁신 거점 조성 △경북 제조산업 Physical AI 기반 무인화·무재해 공장 대전환 지원사업 등 미래 산업 기반 구축 사업과 함께 △동서 자연재해 위험 개선지구 정비 △하천 안전관리 스마트 통제시스템 구축 △국도 4호선 하양 남하~부호 구간 확장 △자인공설시장 제2주차장 조성 등 시민 생활과 밀접한 사업들의 정부예산 반영 필요성에 대해 의견을 나눴다.

조지연 국회의원은 “오늘 논의된 사업들이 경산의 미래 경쟁력을 높이고 시민 삶의 질 향상에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대한다”며 “주요 사업들이 정부 예산에 반영될 수 있도록 국회 차원에서 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다. 이어 “경산의 지속 가능한 발전을 위해 미래 먹거리 산업 발굴이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 신산업 발굴과 육성을 적극 추진해 줄 것을 당부했다.

조현일 경산시장은 “지역의 미래 성장 동력 확보와 시민 안전, 생활 편의 향상을 위한 핵심 사업들이 정부 예산에 반영될 수 있도록 국회와 긴밀히 협력해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
