경산시는 6일 시청 소회의실에서 예천군과 함께 고향사랑기부금 상호기부 행사를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사에는 경산시 기획조정국과 행정지원국 소속 직원 107명과 예천군 직원 107명이 참여해 각각 1,070만 원을 기부했다. 양 기관은 이번 상호기부를 계기로 제도에 대한 관심을 높이고 지역 간 교류와 협력을 지속 확대해 나간다는 방침이다.

고향사랑기부제는 개인이 주민등록상 주소지를 제외한 다른 지방자치단체에 연간 최대 2,000만 원까지 기부할 수 있는 제도로, 기부금은 주민복지 증진과 지역 발전 사업에 활용된다.

경산시는 지난해 고향사랑기부금을 활용해 추진한 ‘응급의료 정보 관리 지원사업’을 통해 응급환자 이송과 수용 체계를 개선하며 시민들의 호응을 얻은 바 있다.

올해는 이를 포함해 ▲어린이·노인·장애인 보호구역 내 횡단보도 경계석 미끄럼 방지 ▲소규모 점포 화재감지기 설치 ▲휴일 지킴이 약국 운영 수당 지원 등 시민 생활과 밀접한 4개 사업을 기금사업으로 추진하고 있다.

경산시 관계자는 “직원들의 자발적인 참여로 이뤄진 이번 상호기부가 고향사랑기부제 확산과 지역 간 상생협력 강화의 계기가 되길 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 건전한 기부 문화 정착을 위해 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

Last year, Gyeongsan City garnered a positive response from citizens by improving the emergency patient transport and reception system through the ‘Emergency Medical Information Management Support Project,’ which utilized Hometown Love Donations.

This year, including this initiative, the city is promoting four fund projects closely related to citizens' daily lives: anti-slip curb stones at crosswalks within protection zones for children, the elderly, and the disabled; installation of fire detectors in small shops; and support for operating allowances for pharmacies open on holidays.

A Gyeongsan City official stated, “We hope that this mutual donation, made possible by the voluntary participation of our employees, will serve as an opportunity to expand the Hometown Love Donation System and strengthen mutual cooperation between regions,” adding, “We will continue to strive to establish a sound donation culture.”
