경산시는 17일 시청에서 경상북도, 대구경북경제자유구역청과 함께 ㈜삼광윈테크와 중국 사업장의 국내복귀를 위한 투자양해각서(MOU)를 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약에 따라 ㈜삼광윈테크는 경산지식산업지구 내에 총 750억 원을 투자해 신규 공장을 설립하고, 약 150명의 신규 고용을 창출할 계획이다.

㈜삼광윈테크는 자동차, IT, 드론 등 기계 장비용 플라스틱 부품을 생산하는 전문기업으로, 최근 글로벌 공급망 불안과 보호무역주의 확산 등 대외 환경 변화에 대응하기 위해 본사가 위치한 경산으로 생산시설 이전을 결정했다.

이번 투자로 지역 내 관련 산업 생태계 강화는 물론 일자리 창출을 통한 경제 활성화 효과도 기대된다.

조현일 경산시장은 “이번 투자가 지역 제조업 경쟁력을 높이고 양질의 일자리 창출로 이어지길 기대한다”며 “자동차 관련 기업과 연구기관이 경산으로 집적되는 상생 발전의 기반이 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Samkwang Wintech is a specialized company that produces plastic parts for machinery and equipment such as automobiles, IT equipment, and drones. The company decided to relocate its production facilities to Gyeongsan, where its headquarters are located, to respond to recent changes in the external environment, such as global supply chain instability and the spread of protectionism. This investment is expected to not only strengthen the local industrial ecosystem but also revitalize the economy through job creation.

Gyeongsan Mayor Cho Hyun-il stated, “I hope this investment will enhance the competitiveness of the local manufacturing industry and lead to the creation of high-quality jobs,” adding, “It will serve as a foundation for mutually beneficial development, attracting automotive-related companies and research institutions to Gyeongsan.”
