영천시는 지난 1일 시청 대회의실에서 전 부서장이 참석한 가운데 ‘맞춤형 청렴시책 이행계획 보고회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 보고회에서는 각 부서 업무 특성을 반영해 수립한 맞춤형 청렴시책 이행계획을 공유하고, 세부 추진현황을 점검하는 시간이 마련됐다. 시는 부서별 업무를 청렴 기준으로 분석해 실효성 있는 개선 방안을 도출하는 데 초점을 맞췄다.

특히 ▲업무 투명성 향상 ▲소극행정 타파 ▲특혜 제공 차단 ▲갑질 근절 ▲부패 인식 개선 등을 핵심 실천과제로 설정하고, 취약 분야에 대한 집중 개선을 통해 청렴시책의 실효성을 높이기로 했다.

앞서 영천시는 ‘2026년 반부패·청렴도 향상 추진계획’을 통해 올해 청렴 비전을 ‘청렴시책 실천으로 더 청렴한 영천’으로 정하고, 44개 중점 과제를 ‘사사(44)건건 청렴하게’라는 슬로건 아래 추진하고 있다.

시는 이번 보고회를 계기로 부서별 맞춤형 시책 이행을 강화하고, 주기적인 점검 체계를 통해 전 공직자의 자율적 참여를 유도해 조직문화 개선으로 이어간다는 방침이다.

시 관계자는 “청렴은 공직자의 기본이자 시 경쟁력의 핵심 가치”라며 “전 직원이 청렴시책을 적극 실천해 ‘더 청렴한 영천’ 실현에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
