특히 올해는 지역 금융기관 가운데 처음으로 NH농협은행과 iM뱅크가 매칭 출연에 참여하면서 보증 규모를 기존보다 확대해 총 120억 원까지 늘렸다.

지원 대상은 영천시에 사업장을 둔 소상공인과 청년창업자다. 보증 한도는 소상공인 최대 3천만 원, 청년창업자 최대 5천만 원이다. 신청은 경북신용보증재단 영천지점에서 가능하며, 대출 실행 이후에는 이차보전 지원사업을 통해 예산 범위 내에서 2년간 연 3%의 이자를 지원받을 수 있다.

해당 사업은 지난 9일부터 접수를 시작했으며, 재원 소진 시까지 운영된다.

시 관계자는 “경기 침체 속에서도 성실히 사업을 이어가는 소상공인들에게 실질적인 자금 지원을 통해 자립 기반을 마련하겠다”고 말했다.
