【브레이크뉴스 영천】이성현 기자=영천시는 청년농업인의 창의적이고 실현 가능한 아이디어를 발굴·육성하기 위해 ‘제4회 청년농업인 농식품 아이디어 콘테스트’를 개최한다고 19일 밝혔다.
이번 콘테스트는 농산물 생산을 비롯해 가공, 유통·판매, 체험·관광, 농식품 융복합 산업 등 농업 전 분야를 대상으로 진행된다. 시는 아이디어의 창의성과 실현 가능성을 중심으로 구체적인 사업계획과 타당성을 종합적으로 평가해 최종 선정자를 선발할 계획이다.
참가 자격은 만 19세 이상 45세 이하의 농업인 또는 예비농업인으로, 거주지 제한 없이 누구나 참여할 수 있다. 다만 사업에 선정될 경우, 타 지역 거주자는 사업 시작 전 영천시로 전입해야 한다.
선정자에게는 자부담 10%를 포함해 개인별 최대 1억 원 이내의 사업비가 지원된다. 해당 사업비는 아이디어 실현을 위한 시설 설치와 장비·기자재 구입, 시제품 개발 등 사업 추진에 필요한 비용으로 활용할 수 있다.
신청은 오는 2월 13일까지 영천시 농업기술센터 농촌지도과 인력육성팀을 방문해 접수하면 된다. 신청 서류 및 자세한 사항은 농업기술센터 홈페이지(www.yc.go.kr/farm)에서

영천시 관계자는 “청년농업인의 창의적인 아이디어는 지역 농업의 경쟁력을 높이고 새로운 성장동력을 창출하는 핵심 자산”이라며 “이번 콘테스트를 통해 청년들의 열정과 도전이 실제 사업으로 이어질 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

The city plans to select the finalists by comprehensively evaluating the ideas' creativity and feasibility, including their detailed business plans and feasibility.
Eligibility is open to all farmers or prospective farmers aged 19 to 45, regardless of residency. However, if selected for the project, residents of other regions must relocate to Yeongcheon City before the project commences.
Selected applicants will receive up to KRW 100 million in project funding, including a 10% self-funding contribution. This funding can be used for project implementation costs, such as facility installation, equipment and materials purchase, and prototype development.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Human Resources Development Team of the Rural Extension Division of the Yeongcheon City Agricultural Technology Center by February 13th.
