이 사업은 영천시에 사업장을 둔 제조업, 건설업, 무역업 등 중소기업을 대상으로 금융기관 신규 대출 시 발생하는 이자의 일부를 지원하는 제도로, 기업의 금융 부담을 완화하고 안정적인 경영 활동을 돕기 위해 운영된다.

융자추천 한도는 기업 매출 규모와 유형에 따라 차등 적용된다. 일반업체는 최대 3억원, 경북PRIDE 기업·가족친화 인증업체 등 33종의 경상북도 우대업체는 최대 5억원, 여성기업·장애인기업 등 영천시 우대업체는 최대 6억원까지 융자추천을 받을 수 있다.

2026년부터는 경상북도 도비 지원 규모 조정에 따라 일반업체와 도 우대업체의 이차보전율을 4%로 적용하고, 영천시 우대업체는 기존과 동일하게 5%를 유지해 정책적 지원 수준을 지속한다는 방침이다.

아울러 영천시는 미국 관세 부담으로 경영 애로를 겪는 수출 중소기업을 대상으로 한 경상북도의 ‘관세대응 긴급경영안정자금’ 신청도 함께 접수하며, 관련 행정 안내를 병행할 계획이다.

최기문 영천시장은 “최근 환율 변동과 관세 부담으로 어려움을 겪는 지역 중소기업을 위해 올해도 운전자금 이차보전 지원을 이어간다”며 “이번 사업을 통해 중소기업이 자금 부담을 덜고 안정적인 경영을 이어갈 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 이번 운전자금 이차보전 지원사업은 12일부터 자금 소진 시까지 수시 접수로 운영되며, 영천시 홈페이지에서 신청서를 내려받아 영천시 기업유치과를 방문하거나 지펀드(www.gfund.kr) 홈페이지를 통해 신청할 수 있다.
