대구 서구청은 14일부터 단독주택 및 상가 전 세대에 투명페트병 배출전용 적색그물망 7만 3천매를 제작해 배부한다고 밝혔다.
그동안 가정에서 투명페트병을 배출할 때 별도의 용기가 없어 비닐봉투나 박스에 내놓아 배출에 어려움이 많았으나 앞으로는 적색그물망에 담아 동별로 지정된 요일(화요일 또는 수요일) 저녁 8시에서 12시 사이 대문 앞에 배출하면 된다.
서구청은 투명페트병 분리배출 요일제 정착을 위하여 집중 홍보 및 계도기간으로 정해 SNS, 전단지, 배너, 주민교육 등을 통하여 변경된 제도를 알리고 현장을 모니터링 하여 수거여건을 보완해 나갈 계획이다.
