【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구시가 주최하고 계명대학교 미래형모빌리티융합기술혁신센터(UIC)가 주관하는 ‘대구 미래 모빌리티 포럼’이 6일 오전 대구 메리어트 호텔에서 열렸다.
포럼에는 한국자동차연구원, 한국교통연구원을 비롯한 한국전자통신연구원, 항공안전기술원, 인하대학교, 경북대학교 및 하이리움, 베이리스, KMW, 플라나 등 다수의 기관·기업이 참석했다.
이날 포럼은 한국교통연구원 문영준 SOC디지털연구센터장이 ‘디지털인프라와 자율주행 기반 미래 한국형 모빌리티 구상’이라는 주제 아래 미래 모빌리티 국내외 동향을 설명하는 것으로 시작됐다.
다음으로 시는 ‘지상에서 하늘까지 모빌리티로 자유로운 도시’라는 비전 아래, 대구경북통합신공항 건설, 신공항 산단 조성, K2 종전부지 개발과 연계한 미래모빌리티산업 육성전략을 발표하며 하늘길은 UAM으로 열고 지상길은 전기·자율차 기반으로 혁신하겠다는‘SUCCESS Daegu’의 청사진을 제시했다.
이어진 발표에서는 Plana AERO 안민영 이사(UAM), 인하대학교 김주형 교수(시스템반도체), 하이리움산업 홍동희 부사장(FC파워팩), 베이리스 김형준 대표(자율주행 SW) 등의 순서로 분야별 이슈가 되고 있는 산업동향과 향후 발전방향 등을 제시했다.
마지막으로 전문가 토론에는 한국자동차연구원 손영욱 대경본부장을 비롯한 한국전자통신연구원 정훈 센터장, 항공안전기술원 이승근 센터장, KMW Timothy Lee 최고 전략책임자, 경북대 김민영 교수가 패널로 참여해 지역의 미래 모빌리티 산업 발전방향에 대해 열띤 토론을 펼쳤다.
이승대 시 혁신성장실장은 “이번 포럼은 민선8기 대구미래모빌리티산업의 방향성을 제시하는 첫 자리인 동시에 기업·대학·연구기관이 한 자리에 모여 발전방향을 함께 모색하는 의미있는 자리”라며 "지상에서 하늘까지 자유로운 도시 조성사업에 기업과 시민들의 많은 관심과 응원을 부탁한다“고 말했다.
