그는 2019년 7월 일본원숭이, 긴팔원숭이, 그물무늬왕뱀, 미얀마왕뱀 등 국제 멸종위기종 8종을 사육하며 환경부에 사육시설 등록을 하지 않은 혐의 등도 받은 것 으로 알려진다.
