【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자= 대구 서구청(구청장 류한국)은 관내 환경공무직 등 근로자들의 안전한 작업환경조성을 위해 안전보호대를 지급한다고 24일 밝혔다.

이번에 지급하는 안전보호대는 지난 10월에 시행한 ‘근골격계 질환조사 용역’의 조치사항 일환으로 반복된 작업으로 신체부위에 발생하기 쉬운 근골격계 질환의 예방 차원에 마련됐다.

류한국 서구청장은 “보이지 않는 곳에서 서구를 위해 묵묵히 일하고 있는 현업근로자들이 안전하고 건강하게 근무할 수 있는 여건을 만들기 위해 계속노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 서구청은 현업 근로자들의 건강유지 및 관리를 위해 영남대학교병원 직업환경의학과 전문의의 건강상담도 함께 운영하고 있다.
