【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구한의대학교(총장 변창훈) LINC3.0사업단이 미국 건축 전문 전시회 2023 NAHB International Builders' Show (IBS)에 참가했다는 소식을 전했다.

10일, 대구한의대 LINC3.0사업단은 글로벌 Contact 프로그램을 연계하여 지난 1월 30일부터 2월 5일까지 미국 라스베가스 현지에서 열린 건축 전문 전시회에 참가했다고 밝혔다.

이번 프로그램에 참가한 실내건축디자인학과 재학생들은 박람회 현장을 둘러보며 전시회에 참가한 기업 분석과 건축 인테리어 및 건축 자재 시장조사를 진행하며 글로벌 취·창업 역량을 높였다.

글로벌 Contact 프로그램은 LINC3.0 산학연계교육사업의 일환으로 국제적 협업 능력 향상 및 글로벌 감각과 역량을 지닌 실무형 인재를 양성하기 위해 마련되었다.

해당 프로그램의 학습 효과를 높이기 위해 실습교육에 대한 선행학습인 Pre 단계와 실제 박람회 등에 참관해 기업과 현지 워크숍을 진행하며 전공지식을 심화하는 Do 단계, 현장에서 도출된 방안을 캡스톤디자인 교과과정과 연계하여 평가하고 우수결과물을 기업에 이전하는 Post 단계로 진행된다.

이 중 Do단계에 전시회 참가에 대해 조형우(실내건축디자인학과, 3학년) 학생은 “글로벌 Contact 프로그램 참여를 통하여 졸업작품에 대한 계획을 구체화했다.”며 “사진과 그림으로 간접 경험 했던 부분을 현지에서 직접 경험하여 인생의 값진 경험을 할 수 있는 시간 이었다”고 소감을 밝혔다. 

대구한의대학교 LINC3.0사업단 박수진 단장은 “이번 글로벌 필드트립 프로그램을 통해 기업들이 글로벌 시장으로 진출 시 직명하는 다양한 문제 해결에 학생들이 적극적으로 참여하여 기업과 학생 모두의 성장에 기여하는 진정한 산학연계교육이 이루어졌다.”라고 전했다.

Regarding the participation in the exhibition at the Do stage, Hyungwoo Cho (Interior Architecture Design, 3rd year) student said, “Through participating in the Global Contact Program, we materialized the plan for the graduation project.” It was a time where I could have a valuable experience in life by experiencing it myself.”

Park Soo-jin, head of the LINC3.0 Project Group at Daegu Haany University, said, “Through this global field trip program, students actively participate in solving various problems faced by companies when they enter the global market, thereby contributing to the growth of both companies and students.
