오는 14일부터 16일까지 안동과학대학교 국민체육센터 3층에서 열리는 컨퍼런스는 개물림 사고 예방과 사고처리를 위해 한국형 반려견 공격성 평가 프로그램 개발, 동물보호법 개정에 따른 반려견 기질평가(`24.04.27.)를 진행하고자 마련되었다.

이번 컨퍼런스에서 안동과학대학교 반려동물케어과는 한국애견연맹(국제훈련기술연구위원회)과 함께 한국형 평가 프로그램 KCAT(Korea Canine Aggression Test)과 해외 평가프로그램을 비교하여 장·단점을 파악하고 이를 통해 완성도를 높이는 것을 목적으로 하고 있으며 이와 함께 테스트를 통해 반려견 공격성 연구 및 기본자료를 구축할 계획이다.

 반려동물케어과 김미강 학과장은 “급성장한 대한민국 반려문화 산업에 이번 결과를 통해 올바른 반려문화 형성에 큰 도움이 될 것 같아 기대가 크다.” 라고 전했다.
