【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자= 대구시는 ‘대구역사문화대전’ 편찬사업을 완료하고 오는 1일부터 정식으로 누리집 운영을 시작한다고 28일 밝혔다.
대구역사문화대전은 대구시가 한국학중앙연구원과 함께 지난 2019년 5월부터 국비 포함 총 18억원을 투입한 전자백과사전으로 대구의 지리와 역사, 문화유산, 성씨·인물, 정치·경제·사회, 종교, 문화·교육, 생활·민속 구비전승·언어·문학 등 9개 분야의 자료를 편찬했다.
뷴야별 연구자 149인이 집필한 56,256장의 원고를 토대로 9개 분야 7,200개 항목의 콘텐츠를 편찬하고, 사진 자료(11,368건)와 동영상(100편) 등을 누리집에 실었다.
이는 그간 여러 곳에 흩어져 있던 대구학 관련 기초 자료들을 획기적으로 집대성한 것으로, 시민들이 더욱 쉽게 대구의 역사와 문화를 이해하는 데 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 보인다.
김동우 대구시 문화체육관광국장은 “디지털대구역사문화대전 구축으로 대구의 문화유산과 역사 등을 한눈에 볼 수 있게 되어 교육과 연구, 관광 활성화 등에도 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다”고 밝혔다.
