【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구 수성구청은 한국도미노피자와 ‘드론 배달 서비스’ 추진을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 14일 밝혔다.

이번 협약을 통해 양 기관은 시민들이 4차 산업혁명 핵심인 미래 모빌리티 드론기술을 더 가깝게 체감하고, 도심지 드론 배송의 상용화 기반을 구축하기 위해 상호 적극 협력할 계획이다. 

피자 드론 배달 서비스는 오는 4월 1일부터 6월 25일까지 매주 토·일요일 수성못에서 진행될 예정이며 주문은 오전 11시 30분부터 오후 5시 30분까지 1일 11회 선착순으로 가능하다. 

‘도미노피자’ 전용 앱에서 배달 시간을 지정(오후 1시~6시, 30분 간격)해서 이용하면 되며 이번 피자 배달은 드론뿐만 아니라 로봇도 함께 활용될 예정이다. 

인근 지점에서 조리한 피자는 즉시 드론의 전용 배송함에 담겨 수성못을 선회하며 도착지인 수상 무대까지 자율비행 된다. 

이후 대기 중인 로봇으로 옮겨 주문자에게 최종 전달하는 이벤트를 선보이며 어린이, 연인들에게 잊지 못할 추억을 전할 계획이다.

김대권 수성구청장은 “이번 협약이 지역 드론 물류배송 상용화의 발판 역할이 되리라 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 수성구가 드론·UAM, 로봇 등 미래 모빌리티의 중심 도시가 되도록 특화된 정책을 펼쳐 나가겠다”고 말했다.

You can designate the delivery time (1:00-6:00 p.m., every 30 minutes) in the 'Domino's Pizza' app, and this pizza delivery will use not only drones but also robots.

The pizza cooked at a nearby branch is immediately put in a dedicated delivery box of the drone and autonomously flies to the destination, the water stage, while orbiting Suseong Lake.

Afterwards, it will move to a waiting robot and present an event to deliver the final delivery to the orderer, planning to deliver unforgettable memories to children and lovers.

Kim Dae-kwon, Mayor of Suseong-gu, said, "I expect this agreement to serve as a stepping stone for the commercialization of regional drone logistics delivery."
