【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구 수성구(구청장 김대권)는 수성못이 ‘2023-2024 한국관광 100선’에 2회 연속 선정됐다고 14일 밝혔다.
‘한국관광100선’은 우리 국민과 방한 외국인 관광객이 꼭 가봐야 할 우수 관광지 100개소를 2년에 한 번씩 선정해 국내외에 홍보하는 사업이다.
‘2023-2024 한국관광 100선’선정은 직전에 선정된 2021-2022 한국관광 100선 평가, 지자체 추천 관광지, 빅데이터 분석을 통해 선별한 235개소를 대상으로 했다.
수성못은 수려한 자연을 품은 도심 속 호수공원으로 수성구 대표 관광자원이다. 지하철 3호선 수성못역 등 대중교통을 통해 쉽게 방문할 수 있으며 수성못 카페거리, 들안길 먹거리타운 등 먹거리도 다양해 연인·가족단위의 방문이 많다.
이번 선정으로 수성못은 한국관광공사 누리집 대한민국 구석구석에 소개되고 국내·외 매체 및 책자를 통해 홍보된다.
김대권 수성구청장은 “주민들과 관광객에게 사랑을 받는 수성못이 한국관광100선에 2회 연속으로 선정되어 매우 뜻깊게 생각한다.”며, “다른 도시에는 없는 관광 콘텐츠와 인프라 구축으로 수성구만의 차별화와 유일성으로 코로나19 펜데믹 이후 증가할 국내외 관광 수요에 맞춰 적극적인 관광객 유치에 힘쓰겠다.”고 말했다.
