【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구청(청장 배광식)과 북구체육회가  ‘대구 북구 금호강 파크골프대회’를 개최한다고 27일 밝혔다.

금호강 파크골프장 개장을 기념해 열리는 대회는 신규 골프장의 개장 분위기를 확산하고 파크골프 동호인의 저변 확대와 지역경제 활성화를 도모하기 위해 마련됐다.

대회는 북구체육회 주최, 대구 북구 파크골프협회 주관으로 진행되며, 북구청·대구시 파크골프협회·대구MBC가 후원한다. 

총 3,000여 명(선수 2,880명, 진행요원 등 200명)이 참가하는 대규모 대회로, 전 종목은 남녀 개인전으로 치러진다.

예선은 10월 28일부터 31일까지 나흘간 열리며, 매일 576명이 18홀 경기를 진행한다. 

예선을 통과한 상위 576명은 11월 4일과 5일 결선에 진출해 이틀간 36홀 경기를 통해 최종 순위를 가린다.

참가는 대구시 파크골프협회 등록 동호인 누구나 가능하며, 접수는 9월 한 달간 각 구·군 협회를 통해 이뤄진다. 참가비는 예선 3만 원, 결선 5만 원이다.

북구청은 이번 대회를 계기로 소비쿠폰 배부, 지역 맛집 이벤트 등 다양한 부대 프로그램을 운영해 금호사수지역의 지역경제 활성화에도 힘을 보탤 계획이다.

Daegu Buk-gu Office (Chief Bae Gwang-sik) and the Buk-gu Sports Council announced on the 27th that they will host the "Daegu Buk-gu Geumho River Park Golf Tournament."

This tournament, held to commemorate the opening of Geumho River Park Golf Course, aims to promote the new course, expand the base of park golf enthusiasts, and revitalize the local economy.

The tournament is hosted by the Buk-gu Sports Council and organized by the Daegu Buk-gu Park Golf Association, and is sponsored by the Buk-gu Office, the Daegu City Park Golf Association, and Daegu MBC.

This large-scale tournament will feature approximately 3,000 participants (2,880 players and 200 staff members), with all events being individual men's and women's events.

The preliminary round will be held over four days, from October 28th to 31st, with 576 players competing in 18 holes each day.

The top 576 players who passed the preliminary round will advance to the finals on November 4th and 5th, where they will compete over two days of 36 holes to determine the final ranking.

Any registered golfer with the Daegu City Park Golf Association can participate. Applications will be accepted through each district and county association throughout September. The entry fee is 30,000 won for the preliminary round and 50,000 won for the final round.

The Buk-gu Office plans to utilize this tournament as a catalyst for revitalizing the local economy in the Geumho Sasu area by running various programs, including distribution of consumption coupons and local restaurant events.
