【브레이크뉴스 】이성현 기자=대구보건대학교(총장 남성희)의 임상병리학과, 치위생학과, 유아교육학과, 사회복지학과가 한국전문대학교육협의회에서 실시한 ‘학사학위 전공심화과정 운영진단’에서 최고등급으로 평가 되었다.

전공심화과정이란 전문대학이나 기능대학 등 2년~3년제 대학을 졸업한 뒤, 산업체 근무경력이 1년 이상인 자에 한해 추가교육을 받는 과정을 말한다.

한국전문대학교육협의회는 2013년부터 연차평가 제도를 도입해 대학의 자율적 노력과 성과를 지속적으로 개선·향상시켜 종합적 교육품질 관리체계를 제공하기 위해 학사학위 전공심화과정 운영진단을 시행해왔다.

이번 평가는 전국 105개교 752학과를 대상으로 전공심화과정 추진실적, 전공심화과정 운영 및 위원회, 학과 운영조직 및 지원, 학과 교육운영, 학과 교육성과 등 5개 영역 15개 진단지표 항목으로 진행됐다.

A등급을 획득한 대구보건대의 임상병리학과, 치위생학과, 유아교육학과, 사회복지학과는 전공심화과정 교원의 전공 및 현장경력, 교육운영 관리, 졸업생 취업률 등에서 높은 평가를 받았다.

사회복지학과 학과장 도금혜 교수는 “사회복지학과 전공심화과정(4년제)은 대구지역 전문대학 최초로 개설 된 사회복지과를 기반으로 현장 맞춤형 교육 실시하고 있다”며 “인간의 존엄과 가치를 바탕으로 21세기 복지국가 필요로 하는 사회복지·보육 전문인력을 양성해 따뜻한 세상을 만들 수 있도록 하겠다”고 전했다.

Since 2013, the Korea Council for Professional University Education has introduced an annual evaluation system to continuously improve and improve the autonomous endeavors and achievements of universities, thereby providing a comprehensive education quality management system.

The evaluation was conducted with 15 diagnostic indicators in five areas, including the performance of the intensive major course, operation and committee of the intensive major course, department operation organization and support, department education operation, and department education performance, targeting 752 departments at 105 schools nationwide.

The Department of Clinical Pathology, Department of Dental Hygiene, Department of Early Childhood Education, and Department of Social Welfare of Daegu Health University, which obtained A grade, received high praise for the major and field experience of teachers in the intensive major course, education operation management, and graduate employment rate.

Professor Jeon Gil-hye, head of the Department of Social Welfare, said, “The Department of Social Welfare Intensive Course (four-year program) is providing on-site customized education based on the first social welfare department established in Daegu area. “We will create a warm world by nurturing social welfare and childcare professionals that are needed by the welfare state of the century.
