대구보건대학교(총장 남성희) 국제교육팀이 해외 산업체 맞춤형 프로그램 하계교육을 성료했다고 2일 밝혔다.

한국산업인력공단에서 주관하는 K-Move스쿨사업 일환으로 실시한 이번 하계교육은‘미국 치과기공 전문가 연수과정’으로 7월 19일부터 8월 31일까지 임플란트 전문회사인 디오 임플란트 미국 해외법인에 취업할 연수생 10명을 대상으로 진행되었다.

대구보건대 치기공과를 졸업한 전공심화 과정 학생들 중 어학성적, 전공성적, 면접 등의 엄격한 기준으로 선발된 연수생들은 하계교육(152시간)을 포함해 맞춤형 전공 실습 교육과 어학 교육, 소양 교육 등 600시간을 이수한 후 디오임플란트 미국 해외법인에 취업하고 내년 2월에 출국할 예정이다. 

이번 해외 취업연수생으로 선발된 유수혁씨(26·치기공과 전공심화과정)는“해외취업의 꿈을 가지고 1학년 때부터 성실하게 준비한 결과가 성공적으로 실현될 수 있도록 교육 연수에 더욱 정진 하겠다”며“최고의 치기공 전문직업인으로서 자리매김해 해외취업을 꿈꾸는 후배들을 이끌어주고 싶다”고 말했다.  

사업을 주관하는 최병환 국제교육팀장(치기공과 교수)은“해외취업의 다변화에 특화된 프로그램과 국제적 전문인력 양성에 지속적인 관리와 개선에 박차를 가하겠다”며,“해외산업체와 취업생 모두가 만족할 수 있는 프로그램 운영과 양질의 취업처 발굴에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
