이날 윤 당선인은 대구 팔공산과 서문시장을 들러 오후 2시경 박 전 대통령 사저가 있는 대구 달성군 유가읍 쌍계리에 도착했다. 윤 당선인이 박 전 대통령을 만난다는 소식을 들은 많은 지지자들은 이날도 현장을 찾아 두 사람의 만남을 환영했다.

약 50분간 대화 윤석열과 박근혜 사실상 화합 유영하 날개 ?

두 사람은 약 50여분간 사저에서 대화를 나눴다. 만남 자리에는 권영세, 유영하 두 사람이 배석했다. 두 사람은 50여 분간 허물없이 대화했다고, 그리고 대화 분위기는 아주 화기애애했다고 권영세 의원은 전했다. 

두 사람이 대화를 나누는 동안 밖에서는 지지자들과 주민들이 자리를 지키며 두 사람이 함께 나오기를 기다렸다. 당초 예상됐던 시간보다 대화 시간이 길어지자 일부 주민들과 지지자들은 “빨리 나오라”고 외치면서 “두 사람이 함께 나오라”고 했다.

사저 인근에  살고 있다는 나이 좀 있는 듯 보이는 한 주민은 “나이 많은 사람이 이렇게 왔는데 한 번 쯤은 얼굴을 내밀고 손을 흔들어라도 줘야 하는 것 아니냐”며 박 전 대통령을 애타게 찾았다. 

예상보다 긴 대화가 끝이 났는지 사저의 대문이 열리고 기자들이 백 브리핑을 받기 위해 모이자 밖에서 기다리던 지지자들의 환호성도 덩달아 터져 나왔다. 그러나, 예상했던 박 전 대통령과 윤석열 당선인이 함께 나오는 모습은 없었다. 백 브리핑을 마친 윤 당선인과 측근들이 차량에 탑승해 빠져나갈 즈음 여기저기 곳곳에서 “윤석열! 박근혜!”를 동시에 외치는 외침이 들려왔다. 

군중 속을 빠져나가던 차량이 갑자기 멈춰서고 윤 석열 당선인이 잠시 손을 흔들며 현장을 찾은 주민과 지지자들에게 인사하자 또다시 환호성이 터졌다.

안에서 박근혜 전 대통령과 어떤 대화를 어떤 식으로 나누었는지는 몰라도 밖에서는 적어도 윤석열 지지자와 박 전 대통령 지지자들은 한데 어울렸고, 두 진영은 화합하는 듯 했다. 현장의 지지자들도 “함께 나와 악수라도 하는 장면을 기대했는데, 조금은 아쉽지만 지지자들이 이렇게 서로서로 연호하는 것을 보니 박과 윤 두 사람의 만남이 정치적 화합을 했다는 것을 실감할 수 있다”고 말했다.

한편, 이날 윤석열 대통령 당선인의 취임식 참석 요청에 박근혜 전 대통령은 “최대한 참석하는 것으로 노력하겠다”고 화답했다.
