【브레이크뉴스 김천】이성현 기자=김천시(시장 김충섭)는 오는 23일부터 25일까지 3일간 부항댐의 풍경과 산내들오토캠핑장의 시설을 홍보하기 위해 제3회 캠핑 페스티벌을 개최한다고 19일 밝혔다.

이번 페스티벌은 코로나19로 인해 침체된 캠핑 수요 창출을 위해전국캠핑협회 소속 동호인의 접수를 받아 500여명 넘는 캠퍼들과 그 가족들이 참가한다.

전국 각지에서 참가한 캠퍼들은 2박 3일간 가족과 함께하는 김천시티투어, 별빛과 함께하는캠핑의 밤, 지역특산품과 함께하는 공정캠핑영수증 등 여러 이벤트에 참여한다.

가족과 함께하는 김천 시티투어에서는 직지사, 전통시장체험(황금시장 및 평화시장), 녹색미래과학관을 관광하면서 직지사의 웅장함과 전통시장의 정겨움, 녹색미래과학관의 신비로운 과학 경험 등 새로운 경험과 관광지를 관광할 예정이다.

특히 이번 페스티벌에서는 김천시의 관광지를 방문하고, 김천시의 특산품을 구매한 캠퍼들이 SNS에 실시간으로 투어 후기를 올려, 심사 후 푸짐한 경품을 증정 할 예정이다.

박노송 관광진흥과장은“이번 페스티벌로 캠핑장 활성화를 기대하며, 주변 관광지와 연계한 관광상품을 더 많이 개발하여‘마음이 끌리는 김천’, ‘계속 생각나는 김천’을 만들어 지역경제 활성화는 물론, 친환경 캠핑 페스티벌이 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
