【브레이크뉴스 김천】이성현 기자=김천시평생교육원 여성새로일하기센터는 18일 평생교육원 1강의실에서 국비 공모사업으로 추진된 직업교육훈련 '실버케어 실무자 양성 과정' 수료식을 개최하며 고령화 사회에 대비한 전문 인력 양성에 박차를 가했다.

이날 수료식에는 조기 취업자 1명을 제외한 19명의 수강생과 강사가 참석한 가운데 수료증 수여, 개근상 및 공로상 시상, 소감 발표, 기념 촬영 순으로 진행됐다.

지난 3월 5일부터 5월 18일까지 약 3개월간 진행된 이번 과정은 요양보호사 실무 교육을 비롯해 인지행동 프로그램, 응급처치 및 심폐소생술, 노인학대 예방 교육, 정리 수납, 참빛종합실버센터 현장실습 등 실무 역량 강화를 위한 다채로운 프로그램으로 구성됐다.

특히 훈련생들은 이론과 실습을 병행하며 전문성을 높였으며, 그 결과 19명 전원이 인지행동지도사 1급 자격증을 취득하는 괄목할 만한 성과를 거두었다. 이번 과정을 수료한 실버케어 실무자들은 앞으로 시니어 생애주기 전반에 걸친 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하며 어르신들의 안전한 노후를 책임질 것으로 기대된다.

전성필 평생교육원장은 수료식에서 "노인 돌봄 인력 수요가 증가하는 고령화 사회에 대비하여 여러분이 실버케어 실무자로서 지역사회 돌봄의 중심이 되어주시길 바란다"라며, "교육원 또한 여성들이 새로운 일자리로 도약할 수 있도록 실용적인 교육 제공과 취업 연계에 힘쓰겠다"라고 밝혔다.
