【브레이크뉴스 김천】이성현 기자=김천시(시장 김충섭)는 지난 8월 27일 일과 가정양립을 위한‘워킹맘&대디 힐링캠프’를 개최했다고 29일 밝혔다.

시에 따르면 올해 처음으로 개최되는 ‘워킹맘&대디 힐링캠프’는 맞벌이 가구를 대상으로 워라벨 문화 확산과 평소 부족했던 자녀와의 소통의 기회를 제공하고자 기획됐다.

총 30여 가구가 신청했으며 자녀연령, 김천시 거주기간 등 공고된 배점표에 의한 고득점순으로 12가구(50명)가 최종 참여했다.

참여가구들은 팀별 스태킹(종이컵쌓기) 놀이, 가족티셔츠 만들기, 정원꾸미기 등 가족끼리 다양한 체험활동을 하며 연신 웃음소리가 끊이질 않았다.

오후시간에는 부모들이 부모교육 및 명상의 시간을 가지는 동안 자녀들은 운동장에서 보물찾기, 이어달리기, 공굴리기 등의 야외활동을 했으며 저녁시간에는 가족별로 모여 숯불 바비큐파티를 하며 서로의 공감대와 가족애를 쌓았다.

한 아버지는 “아이들과 하루 종일 눈을 맞추며 웃고 떠들었던 적이 정말 오랜만인 것 같다. 오늘 행복한 하루를 선물 받은 느낌이다.”고 말했다.

김충섭 김천시장은 “가정이 화목해야 사회가 건강해진다. 이번 캠프를 통해 맞벌이가정에게 힐링의 시간이 되었길 바란다.”며 “앞으로도 여성친화도시인 김천시는 함께 일하고, 함께 돌보는 사회 분위기 조성을 위해 적극 노력하겠다”고 전했다.
