【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자= 서구문화회관 기획전시 The 3column展 '경계 확장'이 오는 12일부터 26일까지 개최된다고 10일 밝혔다.

작가 김현준, 이민주, 이지원이 참여하는 이번 전시는 서로에게 영향을 주고받으며 자신이 속한 예술의 영역을 인식하고 그 영역의 경계를 조금씩 넓혀가며 자신만의 예술세계를 확장하여 색다른 작품들을 선보인다. 

회화화 된 조각, 서양화, 동양화 작품을‘3개의 기둥(영역)’이라는 컨셉으로 각자의 영역에서 어떻게 다른 예술 영역과 융합하고 영향을 받아 변화하였는지를 보여준다.

작가 김현준은 나무를 깎아 조각 작품을 만들어 생명의 순환이라는 이야기를 이끌어가고, 이민주는 회화와 도자기를 활용한 설치 작품을 통해 무덤이라는 독특한 소재로 자신만의 이야기를 풀어나가며, 마지막으로 이지원은 동양화의 기명절지화 소재를 디자인적으로 표현해 작품세계의 확장을 보여준다.

서구문화회관 황영희 관장은 “경계를 넘어 작품 세계를 확장해가는 3명의 작가들의 개성 있는 작품들을 준비했다"며"작품들을 통해 예술의 영역에 대해 생각을 공유하는 의미 있는 시간이 되시기를 바란다.”고 밝혔다.
