손발단장사업은 거동이 불편한 독거어르신들의 손발 씻어드리기, 손발톱 깎기, 마사지, 페디큐어 등 생활관리 서비스를 지원하며 달성군보건소의 협조를 받아 혈압,당뇨,콜레스테롤 측정 등 기초건강클리닉까지 원스톱으로 지원하는 사업이다.  

이날 지역사회보장협의체 위원들은 손수 준비한 전통과자와 백설기를 드리고 대화를 나누며, 그간 소외된 어르신들의 마음까지 두루 보살펴 어르신들의 호응이 높았다.

특히, 맞춤형복지팀와 복지팀 공무원들도 직접 방문하여 부양의무자 기준 완화에 따른 기초수급자 신청 상담, 긴급지원 제도, 차세대 복지멤버십 등 각종 복지제도를 이해하기 쉽게 안내하는 등 어르신들의 궁금증 해소에 직접 나섰다.

이안아 위원장은“주위에 퇴행성 질환으로 고생하시는 어르신들이 일생관리에 어려움을 많이 겪고 있다.”며“이웃들부터 살펴서 정말 필요한 도움을 줄 것"이라고 말했다.
