【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자= 대구 달성군 논공읍이  지난해 11월부터 추진하고 있는 안심차량동행 도어투도어 서비스가 저소득 주민들의 호응을 높게 받고 있다.

19일 대구 달성군에 따르면 ‘안심차량동행 도어투도어서비스’는 신체적・경제적 이유로 대중교통 이용이 어려운 중증질환자 등을 대상으로 제공되는 이동 지원 사업이다.

논공읍지역사회보장협의체와 논공읍에 위치한 네오택시협동조합의 업무협약 체결을 통해 서비스를 지원하고 있다. 

이번 사업은 자택에서 병원까지, 진료 후 귀가까지 지원하는 원스톱 이동 서비스로 긴 대기시간과 일부지역만 이용 가능한 나드리콜, 행복택시 등 기존 서비스의 불편함을 해결할 수 있어 의의가 크다. 

또 평소 거동이 불편하고 생계가 어려운 대상자들에게 병원진료의 편의성을 제공할 뿐만 아니라 교통비를 절약하는 기대효과를 줄 수 있다.

올해 4월부터 에덴재가노인돌봄센터와 업무협약을 통해 거동이 불편한 어르신들을 추천받는 등 대상자의 범위를 넓혀 지원하고 있으며 관내 복지기관들과의 협조를 통해 이동서비스가 필요한 대상자를 발굴해왔다. 

내년부터는 좀 더 많은 주민들이 지원을 받을 수 있도록 이용대상자의 선정조건을 완화하여 실시할 예정이다. 

서비스이용자 중 한분은“최근에 무릎관절 수술을 받았는데 허리까지 아파 병원을 다니는데 불편함이 많았는데 논공읍에서 이렇게 이동지원서비스를 지원해주시니 마음이 든든하다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

김봉식 논공읍장은“지역실정에 맞는 복지서비스의 필요성이 더욱 증대되는 만큼 본 사업뿐만 아니라 지역사회를 위한 다양한 사업을 발굴ㆍ추진하도록 힘쓰겠다.”고 말했다.
