행정안전부는 서민 생활물가 안정을 위해 243개 전 지자체를 대상으로 올해 지방물가 안정추진 실적을 평가했다.

이번 평가에서 대구시는 지방공공요금 관리와 착한가격업소 지원, 개인서비스요금 안정화 추진 등 물가안정 실적에서 7개 특·광역시 중 가장 높은 ‘가’ 등급을 받아 최우수 기관으로 선정, 3억 5천만원의 특별교부세를 받는다.

대구시는 올 한 해 공공요금의 안정적인 관리를 위해 시내버스료, 하수도료, 택시료 등 공공요금을 동결했고, 코로나19 장기화와 고물가로 어려움을 겪고 있는 소상공인과 경영위기 업종의 3~5월분 상하수도요금 101억원을 감면해 민생경제 회복에 노력했다.
