대구시가 주관하는 추계 도로정비 평가는 매년 8개 구․군 등 도로 유지관리 기관 12곳을 대상으로 도로의 기능유지와 도로 이용자들에게 안전하고 쾌적한 도로환경 제공 등을 종합적으로 평가한다.

달서구는 475km의 도로 정비를 위해 64억원의 예산을 투입해 노후도로 포장과 차선도색, 도로표지판 정비, 도로구조물 점검 및 보수로 시민들에게 편안하고 쾌적한 도로환경을 제공한 공로가 높이 평가된 것으로 알려진다.

이태훈 달서구청장은 “도로를 관리하는 직원 모두가 각자의 위치에서 구민의 편의와 안전을 위해 최선을 다했기에 최고의 평가를 받았다고 생각한다"며" 앞으로도 쾌적한 도로환경 유지를 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
