【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구교통공사는 대구시립남부도서관과 업무협약을 체결하고 오는 19일부터 안지랑역에 스마트도서관을 운영한다고 16일 밝혔다.

스마트도서관은 기기 안에 비치된 도서를 무인자동화 시스템으로 대출·반납이 가능하며, 도시철도 운영시간 내에 시민들이 연중무휴로 이용할 수 있다. 

또 스마트도서관에는 신간 및 우수도서로 구성된 다양한 도서가 약 600여 권이 적재되어 도시철도 이용 승객뿐만 아니라 평일 도서관 이용이 어려운 학생, 직장인 등도 이용할 수 있다.

이번에 설치되는 안지랑역 외에도 1호선 설화명곡역, 상인역, 중앙로역, 대구역 2호선 용산역, 두류역, 청라언덕역, 2반월당역, 3호선 매천시장역 등 9개역에서 스마트도서관이 운영되고 있다.

대구교통공사 사장은“이번스마트도서관 개관으로 코로나19로 지친 시민들이 가까운 역을 찾아‘책’이라는 좋은 친구를 만나 위로를 받고, 안전한 독서 문화를 즐길 수 있기를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
