달성군은 중앙부처 평가에서 25건, 대구시 평가에서 13건, 한국 공공자치연구원 등 외부기관 평가에서 20건을 수상했다.
수상분야도 행정서비스, 예산, 문화·관광, 안전, 보건・복지, 도시경관, 농업, 환경, 부동산 등 행정 전(全) 분야에서 골고루 우수한 성적표를 받았다.
지난 12월 ‘제4차 법정문화도시’에 최종 선정되어 대구에서는 최초로 법정문화도시로 지정되는 쾌거를 이루었으며, 지방재정분석 결과 최우수, 주민참여예산제도 평가 우수,공공자원 개방공유서비스 우수사례 경진대회 전국1위, 기초생활보장분야 우수기관에 선정되는 등 눈부신 성과를 얻었다.
특히 달성군은 난관리평가에서 우수기관에 선정된 것을 시작으로 대구시 구·군 자연재난 관리실태평가 최우수상, 민방위 경진대회 우수상, 구·군 안전시책 평가 장려상, 도시녹화사업평가 최우수상, 건축행정평가 우수기관 선정, 구·군 환경관리업무평가 장려상을 수상했다.
