【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=계명대학교 동산의료원(의료원장 이세엽)이 2022년 ICT기금정책 유공자 시상식에서 ‘과학기술정보통신부장관 표창’을 수상했다고 29일 밝혔다.

계명대 동산의료원은 기금 정책유공 분야에서 전국 의료기관 중 유일하게 장관표창을 수상했다. 

빅데이터, 인공지능, 디지털 헬스케어 분야 등 다양한 주요 국책사업에 잇따라 선정되며 스마트 병원 생태계 구축을 위해 노력해왔고, 관련 연구 인프라를 적극 도입·추진해 온 것이 빛을 발했다는 평가다.

또 ICT기금 지원사업이었던 인공지능 학습용 데이터 구축사업에 선정돼 근골격계 동영상데이터 및 영유아 고관절 초음파 데이터를 학습용 데이터로 구축하여 AI진단과 AI의료기기 등을 개발하고 활용할 수 있도록 했다. 

특히 범부처 의료기기 개발사업을 통해서 ‘인공지능 기반 족부 및 보행이상 진단 보조 솔루션’과 ‘IoT 기반의 영유아 검진용 고관절 초음파 판독 솔루션’ 개발을 진행했으며, 구축된 데이터들을 고도화하기도 했다.

이세엽 의료원장은 “우리 의료원은 스마트 의료 환경 구축을 선도하기 위해 최근 동산메디컬융합연구센터를 개소하는 등 연구시설 확충과 우수 연구 인력 확보를 위해 더 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. "며" 앞으로도 다양한 민관 협력을 통해, 의료 빅데이터, AI 연구 생태계 조성을 위해 최선을 다하겠다” 고 밝혔다.

In particular, through the pan-governmental medical device development project, it developed ‘Artificial Intelligence-based foot and gait abnormality diagnostic aid solution’ and ‘IoT-based hip joint ultrasound reading solution for infant examination’, and also advanced the established data.

“Our medical center is making more efforts to expand research facilities and secure excellent research personnel, such as recently opening the Dongsan Medical Convergence Research Center to lead the establishment of a smart medical environment. “We will continue to do our best to create an ecosystem for medical big data and AI research through various public-private partnerships.”
