【브레이크뉴스 】박은정 기자=계명대학교 동산병원 바이오브레인융합연구팀(김창현, 이종하 교수)은 ‘범부처전주기의료기기연구개발사업단’이 주관하는 연구개발 사업에 선정됐다고 13일 밝혔다.

4년간 총 28억 규모의 사업비가 투입되고 단국대학교병원과 ㈜원텍이 참여한다.

연구개발 목표는 ‘유니버설 디자인이 적용된 영상기반 비대면 진료용 의료기기 개발’ 사업으로, 이번 연구개발을 통해 생체징후(Vital sign) 측정을 위한 체온계, 혈압계 등의 필수 의료기기를 사용하는데 있어 많은 어려움을 겪어 온 시각·청각 장애인이나 디지털 기기에 익숙하지 않은 고령자들에게 많은 도움이 될 것으로 보인다.

 또 누구나 편리하게 사용할 수 있는 유니버설 디자인이 적용되어 모든 사람이 차별 없이 의료서비스 혜택을 받을 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 

이를 위해 롱 디스턴스 리모트 비전 센싱기술을 기반으로 한 다차원 바이오신호 측정기기를 개발하고 식약처 2등급 승인을 목표로 연구가 진행될 예정이다. 

김창현, 이종하 교수는 “스마트 병원 구축 방향에 맞춰 외래 진료 및 입원 환경 모두에서 활용할 수 있는 롱 디스턴스 리모트 비전 센싱 기술과 컴퓨터 보조 진단 시스템을 구축할 것”이라며, “보조적 AI 진단과 함께 모든 사람이 이용할 수 있는 의료기기를 만들어 진료에 도움을 주는 실용적인 연구 사업을 완수하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Professors Chang-hyeon Kim and Jong-ha Lee said, “In line with the smart hospital construction direction, we will build a long-distance remote vision sensing technology and computer-assisted diagnosis system that can be used in both outpatient and inpatient environments. We will complete practical research projects that help medical care by making medical devices that can be used.”
