【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구한의대학교(총장 변창훈)가 동계 단기 계절학기 한의학 교환학생 프로그램을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

지난 12일, 대구한의대는 우즈베키스탄 타슈켄트소아의과대학과 베트남 호치민의약학대학에 한의학과 2학년 재학생으로 구성된 교환학생 대표단을 파견했다고 밝혔다.

이번 교환학생 대표단은 타슈켄트소아의과대학에 3명, 호치민의약학대학에 4명이 파견되어 그 나라의 전통의학 관련 정규 교과목 수업을 듣고 다양한 실습을 통해 외국의 전통의학에 대한 다양한 경험을 쌓고 각국의 문화활동 등 다양한 비교과 활동을 통해 파견국의 문화를 체험할 계획이다.

뿐만 아니라 7월 중순에는 우즈베키스탄, 베트남, 몽골 의학과 및 전통의학과 재학생들이 대구한의대학교에 교환학생으로 방문할 예정이다.

대학은 우즈베키스탄, 베트남, 몽골을 기점으로 향후 유럽, 중국, 등지로 확대해 본교 재학생은 세계로, 세계의 전통의학 및 의학 전공자는 대구한의대학교 모이는 전통의학의 세계화에 박차를 가할 방침이다.

서부일 한의대학장은 “우리 대학은 작년부터 한의학 세계화를 위해 여러 사업들을 펼치고 있으며 올해 2월 교환학생 프로그램을 시작으로 다양한 국가의 의대생이나 전통의대생들을 위한 프로그램을 준비하고 있다. 한의학과가 중심이 되어 좋은 교육의 기회를 제공하고자 한다.”고 했다.

변창훈 총장은 “작년 부하라국립의과대학 및 몽골약학대학과에 교환학생을 파견한데 이어 이번 겨울방학에도 우리 학생들이 교환학생으로 우즈베키스탄과 베트남에 파견할 수 있어 매우 기쁘게 생각한다. 향후 지속적으로 단기 한의학 교환학생 프로그램을 통해 한의학 세계화의 초석이 되었으면 한다.”고 말했다.
