【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구 동구청(구청장 윤석준)은 ‘새론희망발굴단 발대식 및 역량강화교육’을 진행했다고 13일 밝혔다.
새론희망발굴단은 위기가구 발굴을 위한 지역사회 내 민·관 네트워크 인적안전망을 구축해 복지사각지대를 해소하고 다양한 복지 수요를 충족하기 위해 기획됐다.
동구청은 지난 3월 새론희망발굴단을 공개 모집하여, 총 454개통 1천여명의 새론희망발굴단을 구성했다.
각 통별 2~3명으로 구성된 새론희망발굴단은 앞으로 2년동안 복지지킴이로서 지역 사회 곳곳을 돌아다니며 복지위기가구를 발굴하게 된다.
이들은 동 단위로 도움이 필요한 위기가구에 대한 제보 및 신고 역할을 수행, 위기가구 지원을 위한 물적·인적 자원 발굴 및 사업 참여 , 동지역사회보장협의체와 함께 위기가구 발굴 캠페인 참여, 위기가구 발굴 및 지원 참여에 대한 홍보와 공유, 발굴한 위기가구 복지서비스 정보 제공 등의 업무를 수행한다.
동구청은 새론희망발굴단 활동 지원을 위해 역량강화 교육을 실시하고, 위기가구 우수 발굴 단원에 대한 표창수여 등 인센티브도 제공할 예정이다.
윤석준 동구청장은 “새론희망발굴단은 지역 복지 최전선에서 도움이 필요한 이웃을 찾아내고 도움을 줄 것"이라며" 구청에서도 새론희망발굴단 활동을 적극 지원하겠다."고 밝혔다.
