【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 남구 대덕문화전당이 청년 예술인의 활동을 지원하고 청년 문화예술 저변을 확대하기 위해 오는 9월 열리는 ‘2025 남구청년예술제’에 참여할 9개 팀을 최종 확정했다.

지난 7월 17일부터 8월 1일까지 진행된 공모에는 다양한 장르의 청년 예술인이 지원했으며, 서면·대면 심사를 거쳐 융복합 스트릿댄스, 국악 오케스트라, 미니 뮤지컬, 클래식과 전통 국악, 인디 밴드 등으로 구성된 팀들이 최종 선정됐다.

9월 16일부터 20일까지 대구음악창작소 창공홀에서 열리는 ‘프린지 FESTA’ 무대에는 구다영(판소리), 권오성(트럼펫), 밴드 난장(조선 개러지 록), 원와트(모던 록 밴드), 장예진(가야금), 전소이(피리·태평소)가 닷새간 공연을 펼친다.

이어 9월 25~26일 대덕문화전당 드림홀에서 진행되는 메인 프로그램 ‘청년예술제’에는 온누리 국악예술단(퓨전 국악 오케스트라), 팀모벤티(융복합 스트릿댄스), EG뮤지컬컴퍼니(미니 창작뮤지컬)가 경북예술고 실용음악 댄스팀과 함께 무대에 오른다.

대덕문화전당은 최종 선정된 9개 팀과 함께 약 2주간 이어질 ‘2025 남구청년예술제, 남구와 통-하다’를 통해 청년 예술인의 성장을 지원하고 새로운 문화 콘텐츠 발굴에 나선다.

조재구 남구청장은 “남구가 열정적인 청년 예술인들이 기량을 마음껏 펼칠 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Daedeok Cultural Center in Nam-gu, Daegu, has finalized nine teams for the "2025 Nam-gu Youth Arts Festival," which will be held in September to support the activities of young artists and expand the base of youth culture and arts.

Young artists from various genres applied for the competition, which ran from July 17 to August 1. After written and in-person screenings, the final selection included teams representing convergent street dance, Korean traditional music orchestras, mini-musicals, classical and traditional Korean music, and indie bands.

The "Fringe FESTA," held at the Daegu Music Creation Center's Changgong Hall from September 16 to 20, will feature five-day performances by Gu Da-young (pansori), Kwon Oh-seong (trumpet), Band Nanjang (Joseon garage rock), One Watt (modern rock band), Jang Ye-jin (gayageum), and Jeon So-i (piri and taepyeongso).

The main program, the "Youth Arts Festival," will be held at the Daedeok Cultural Center's Dream Hall on September 25th and 26th. The Onnuri Gugak Arts Troupe (fusion gugak orchestra), Team Moventi (convergence street dance), and EG Musical Company (mini original musicals) will perform alongside the Gyeongbuk Arts High School's practical music dance team.

The Daedeok Cultural Center, along with the nine finalist teams, will support the growth of young artists and discover new cultural content through the two-week "2025 Nam-gu Youth Arts Festival, Connecting with Nam-gu."

Nam-gu Mayor Cho Jae-gu stated, "Nam-gu will actively support passionate young artists so they can fully demonstrate their talents."
