남구청 사격팀의 에이스 곽나경 선수는 지난 3일부터 13일까지 열린 제5회 홍범도장군배와 제34회 경찰청장기 전국사격대회 여자 25m 화약권총 개인전에서 연이어 우승을 차지하며 2관왕에 올랐다.

남구청 사격팀의 상승세도 눈에 띈다. 한유정, 강민정, 곽나경, 송현지 선수로 구성된 단체팀은 지난 6월 회장기 전국사격대회에서 3위를 기록하는 등 꾸준한 성장세를 보이고 있다.

박은영 감독은 "선수들이 흔들림 없이 훈련에 임한 결과가 좋은 성과로 이어져 기쁘다"며 "전국체전 등 앞으로의 주요 대회에서도 더 나은 결과를 위해 최선을 다하겠다"고 말했다.

대구 북구청 볼링팀 역시 전국 무대에서 빛나는 성과를 거뒀다. 지난 11일부터 17일까지 부산 동래구 삼성스포렉스볼링경기장에서 열린 제44회 대한체육회장기 전국단체대항볼링대회에서 금메달 1개와 은메달 1개를 획득하며 종합 3위에 올랐다.

강명진·최정우 선수 조는 2인조 경기에서 평균 241.3점이라는 높은 점수를 기록하며 집중력 있는 경기 운영으로 금메달을 차지했다. 

특히 강명진 선수는 마스터즈 결승에서도 치열한 접전을 펼치며 은메달을 추가로 획득해 개인 기량을 유감없이 발휘했다.

이태주 감독은 "선수들이 끝까지 집중하며 최선을 다한 결과"라며 선수들의 노고를 치하했다. "10월 전국체전에서는 더욱 완성도 높은 경기를 선보이겠다"고 앞으로의 계획을 밝혔다.

북구청 볼링팀은 전국체전에서 메달권 진입을 목표로 더욱 치밀한 훈련에 박차를 가하고 있다.
