【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구가 '제2회 우리북구 지식왕!!' 행사에 참가할 초등학생을 모집한다고 2일 밝혔다.

11월 1일 오후 12시 삼성창조캠퍼스 야외공연장에서 아이들이 자연스럽게 지역에 대한 이해와 애향심을 높일 수 있도록 마련된 퀴즈 대회가 열린다.

매년 북구 관내 초등학교 3학년 학생들에게 나눠주는 '우리북구' 책자를 바탕으로 진행되는 골든벨 퀴즈대회로 오는 19일까지 참가자를 모집한다.

전국의 초등학생 누구나 지원할 수 있고 3학년 학생을 우선으로 선착순 모집한다.

모집 인원은 총 80명이며, 우수 성적을 거둔 상위 3명에게는 상장과 함께 상품이 주어진다.

배광식 북구청장은 "이번 대회는 아이들이 즐겁게 참여하면서 우리 고장에 대한 자부심을 키울 수 있는 뜻깊은 기회가 될 것"이라며 "앞으로도 평생학습도시 북구의 위상을 전국에 알리고 학생과 주민이 함께 배우며 성장할 수 있는 다양한 학습 문화를 만들어가겠다"고 말했다.
