【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대한민국 대표 K-푸드 축제 대구 떡볶이 페스티벌이 오는 24일부터 26일까지 대구 iM뱅크 파크에서 열린다.

대구 북구는 '여기는 대한민국 떡볶구'라는 슬로건으로 제5회 떡볶이 페스티벌의 개최한다고 15일 밝혔다.

전국 유명 떡볶이 28곳이 대구로 모인다. 대구 대표 신천 황제 떡볶이에서는 대구 본연의 매운 국물 떡볶이를 맛볼 수 있다. 대한민국 대표 떡볶이 프랜차이즈 신참떡볶이와 해피 치즈 스마일, 서문시장 명물 김민경의 섹시한 떡볶이도 작년에 이어 참가한다.

부산 대표 신촌깻잎떡볶이는 3년 연속 참가한다. 경기도 고양 꿍스 떡볶이, 충주 소나무상사와 1987 자매분식, 정떡, 태우네 분식, 동성로 형님 떡볶이 등 대구 대표 가게들도 매년 자리를 지킨다.

올해 첫 참가하는 곳도 눈길을 끈다. 서울 떡볶이랑 걸레만두랑과 금미옥, 안양 1997 떡볶이, 오산 방앗간 떡볶이, 원주 말표떡볶이, 진주 범앗간, 경주 우수분식 등이 이름을 올렸다. 대한민국 미슐랭으로 불리는 블루리본을 받은 명랑스낵은 제주도에서 바다 건너 대구로 온다.

행사는 레트로를 주제로 네 가지로 나뉜다. 전국 유명 떡볶이를 맛볼 수 있는 '떡볶이 맛볼 존', 보이는 라디오와 랜덤 떡볶이 맞추기, 외국인 떡볶이 콘테스트, 레트로 가요제로 구성된 '떡볶이 유랑마차', 미니 바이킹과 회전목마 등이 마련된 '뽀기랜드', 그리고 1972년 북구 칠성동에 문을 연 국제실내로라스케이트장을 재현한 추억의 롤러장 '떡볶구에 롤러와'가 있다.

출연진 라인업도 화려하다. 박남정, 채연, 스페이스 A, 도시의 아이들, 딴따라 패밀리 등 레트로 가수들이 3일간 무대를 장식한다.

대구 랜드마크 이월드와의 이벤트도 마련됐다. 이월드 연간회원이 축제장을 방문하면 선착순으로 떡볶이 쿠폰을 받는다. 이월드에서 떡볶이 페스티벌 방문인증 시 83타워와 아이스링크장 50% 할인, 이월드 자유이용권도 50% 할인된다.

배광식 북구청장은 "떡볶이 페스티벌은 대한민국 문화의 힘이 고스란히 담긴 K-컬쳐의 집약체"라며 "떡볶이 속에 담긴 맛과 열정이 세계로 뻗어가 대구가 세계 도시로 발전하길 바란다"고 말했다.

The event is divided into four sections based on a retro theme: the "Tteokbokki Taste Zone," featuring famous tteokbokki from all over the country; the "Tteokbokki Wandering Carriage," featuring a visual radio, random tteokbokki guessing game, a foreign tteokbokki contest, and a retro song festival; "Pogi Land," featuring mini vikings and a carousel; and the nostalgic "Tteokbokki-gu Roller-wa," a re-creation of the International Indoor Roller Skating Rink that opened in Chilseong-dong, Buk-gu in 1972.

There will also be a pop-up zone for Dukki Tteokbokki, where customers can prepare their own ingredients on the spot. Kim Kwan-hoon, CEO of Dookki Tteokbokki, known as the world's greatest tteokbokki enthusiast, will be giving away 2,025 free welcome tteokbokki, and the festival is also highly anticipated. Food trucks featuring 10 Daegu specialties, along with makgeolli and draft beer, will also be available at affordable prices.
