행복북구문화재단은 오는 25일(토) 칠곡3지구 이태원문학관 일원에서 ‘2025 Book & Music Festa(북앤뮤직페스타)’를 연다고 밝혔다.

올해로 2회째를 맞은 이번 축제는 문학과 음악을 매개로 시민들이 예술을 가까이에서 즐기고 참여할 수 있는 복합문화행사다. 누구나 자유롭게 머물며 듣고 읽고 체험할 수 있도록 다채롭게 공간이 꾸며진다.

행사장은 ‘북&뮤직존’, ‘북&라운지존’, ‘북&마켓존’, ‘북&체험존’ 등 네 구역으로 나뉜다.

가장 주목받는 ‘북&뮤직존’에서는 릴레이 북토크가 펼쳐진다. 신보라 작가와 문학평론가 이선욱이 지역 문학의 현재를 이야기하고, 조예은·조우리 작가는 정상성의 경계 밖 인물들을 중심으로 한 서사를 소개한다. 이어 김하나·황선우 작가가 음악과 글의 경계를 넘나드는 에세이 이야기를 들려주며, 김겨울 작가와 피아니스트 최훈락은 낭독과 클래식 연주가 결합된 특별 무대를 선보인다.

북토크 전후에는 DJ Tanuki, DJ truth_mirror88, DJ ENDUKE가 책과 어울리는 음악을 선곡해 감각적인 분위기를 더한다.

‘북&마켓존’에서는 대구의 독립서점들이 한자리에 모인다. 고스트북스, 치우친취향, 북셀러, 차방책방, 나른한책방 등이 참여해 지역성과 개성을 담은 책과 굿즈를 선보인다. 필사 체험과 책갈피 만들기 등 참여형 프로그램도 마련돼 독립출판의 매력을 가까이에서 느낄 수 있다.

서변숲도서관과 함께 운영되는 ‘북&라운지존’에서는 맞춤형 큐레이션 도서를 자유롭게 읽고 대여할 수 있으며, 음악이 흐르는 가운데 여유로운 독서 시간을 즐길 수 있다.

‘북&체험존’에서는 책갈피 키링 만들기, 식물 화분 만들기 등 책을 주제로 한 체험 프로그램이 진행돼 남녀노소 누구나 참여할 수 있다.

행복북구문화재단 박정숙 대표이사는 “북앤뮤직페스타는 작가와 서점, 시민이 함께 만드는 문화축제”라며 “책과 음악이 어우러진 가을의 감성을 북구에서 마음껏 즐기길 바란다”고 말했다.

Daegu's Buk-gu District is adding to the autumn spirit with books and music.

The Happy Buk-gu Cultural Foundation announced that it will host the "2025 Book & Music Festa" on Saturday, the 25th, at the Itaewon Literature Center in Chilgok District 3.

Now in its second year, the festival is a multi-cultural event that allows citizens to enjoy and participate in the arts through literature and music. The diverse spaces are designed to encourage everyone to freely linger, listen, read, and experience.

The venue is divided into four zones: the "Book & Music Zone," the "Book & Lounge Zone," the "Book & Market Zone," and the "Book & Experience Zone."

The "Book & Music Zone," the most popular, will feature a series of book talks. Author Shin Bo-ra and literary critic Lee Seon-wook will discuss the current state of local literature, while authors Cho Ye-eun and Jo Woo-ri will introduce narratives centered on characters outside the boundaries of normalcy. Next, authors Kim Ha-na and Hwang Sun-woo will share essays that transcend the boundaries of music and writing, while author Kim Gyul-wool and pianist Choi Hoon-rak will present a special performance combining readings and classical music.

Before and after the book talk, DJ Tanuki, DJ truth_mirror88, and DJ ENDUKE will create a sensual atmosphere with music that complements the books.

The "Book & Market Zone" brings together Daegu's independent bookstores. Ghost Books, Biuchin Twihyang, Bookseller, Chabang Bookstore, and Narenhan Bookstore will showcase books and merchandise that reflect the region's unique character. Interactive programs, such as copying workshops and bookmark-making, will also be offered, allowing visitors to experience the charm of independent publishing up close.

The "Book & Lounge Zone," operated in conjunction with the Seobyeon Forest Library, offers a personalized curation of books for free reading and borrowing, and a chance to enjoy a leisurely reading session amidst the sound of music.

The "Book & Experience Zone" offers book-themed hands-on programs, including bookmark keychain making and plant pot making, open to all ages.
