【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단 태전도서관이 연말을 맞아 온 가족이 함께 즐길 수 있는 그림책 작가 강연을 두 차례 마련한다.

첫 번째 강연은 초등학생 전 학년과 보호자 15팀을 대상으로 열린다. 이 자리에는 ‘그날 밤 계란말이 버스’의 김규정 작가가 참여한다.

‘그날 밤 계란말이 버스’는 3년 동안 쌓인 눈에 멈춰 있던 버스가 미뤄둔 약속을 지키기 위해 다시 움직이며 주변에 온기를 전하는 이야기다. 강연에서는 책을 함께 읽고, 내용을 바탕으로 ‘나만의 계란말이 버스 만들기’ 체험도 이어진다.

두 번째 강연에는 ‘점점점’의 아우야요 작가가 나선다. 6~7세 유아와 보호자들이 함께 책을 읽고, 점을 활용한 미술놀이를 경험할 수 있다. ‘점점점’은 작은 점 하나가 선과 면으로 확장되며 새로운 세계를 만드는 과정을 담아, 아이들의 상상력과 미적 감각을 자극한다.

태전도서관 관계자는 “연말을 맞아 도서관에서 가족들이 특별한 추억을 쌓길 바란다”며 “그림책이 전하는 따뜻한 메시지를 함께 나누는 시간이 됐으면 한다”고 말했다.

The Taejeon Library of the Happy Bukgu Cultural Foundation will host two lectures by picture book authors for the whole family to enjoy this holiday season.

The first lecture is open to all elementary school students and 15 groups of their guardians. Kim Gyu-jeong, author of "That Night's Egg Roll Bus," will participate.

"That Night's Egg Roll Bus" tells the story of a bus that has been frozen in three years of accumulated snow, which then moves again to fulfill a promise it had postponed, bringing warmth to its surroundings. The lecture will feature a reading of the book, followed by an interactive activity called "Make Your Own Egg Roll Bus."

The second lecture will feature Aouyayo, author of "Dot Dot Dot." Children ages 6 and 7 and their guardians can read the book together and engage in an art activity using dots. "Dot Dot Dot" captures the process of a small dot expanding into lines and planes to create a new world, stimulating children's imagination and aesthetic sense.

A Taejeon Library official said, “We hope that families will create special memories at the library as the year-end approaches,” and “We hope that this will be a time to share the warm messages conveyed by picture books.”
