이번 프로그램은 하유진 작가의 책 '나를 모르는 나에게'와 청소년 사이에서 인기 있는 MBTI 성격유형을 접목해 기존의 딱딱한 독서 교육과는 다른 방식으로 진행된다.

국립국어원이 주최하고 경북대학교 국어문화원이 주관하는 이번 수업은 단순한 책 읽기와 감상문 작성에서 벗어나, 책 속 인물과 자신의 성격을 비교하며 문학과 현실을 연결하는 방식으로 진행된다.

"ISFJ인 나라면 이 상황에서 어떻게 행동했을까?", "작가는 왜 이런 성격의 인물을 설정했을까?" 이처럼 자연스럽게 이어지는 질문 속에서, 참가자들은 독서를 자기 탐색의 도구로 받아들이게 된다.

이번 프로그램의 핵심은 '독서 패러다임의 전환'이다. 혼자 조용히 읽는 방식에서 벗어나, 친구들과 함께 나누고 체험하는 독서로 확장해간다. 활동 중심의 구성은 독서를 더욱 흥미로운 일로 만들어준다.

프로그램은 경북대 국어문화원 소속 전문 연구원과 강사진이 직접 진행하며, 대학과 지역 공공도서관의 협력 모델로도 주목받고 있다.

서변숲도서관은 디지털 세대의 특성을 인정하되, 그들의 언어와 관심사에 맞춰 문해력 교육 프로그램을 설계했다.

도서관 관계자는 "이번 프로그램이 청소년들에게 도서관을 친숙한 배움터로 인식시키는 계기가 되길 바란다"며, "문해력 향상은 물론, 도서관의 역할도 새롭게 정의하는 시간이 될 것"이라고 전했다.

Through these natural questions, such as "If I were an ISFJ, how would I have acted in this situation?" and "Why did the author create this character?", participants embrace reading as a tool for self-exploration.

The core of this program is a "reading paradigm shift." It shifts from quiet, solitary reading to shared, experiential reading with friends. This activity-centered structure makes reading more engaging.

The program is led directly by expert researchers and instructors from Kyungpook National University's Korean Language and Culture Institute, and is also attracting attention as a model for collaboration between universities and local public libraries.

Seobyeon Forest Library designed its literacy education program to recognize the unique characteristics of the digital generation while tailoring it to their language and interests.

Library officials stated, "We hope this program will serve as an opportunity for young people to recognize the library as a familiar learning environment. It will not only improve literacy skills, but also redefine the role of libraries."
