【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 남구 사격팀의 간판 곽나경 선수가 전국 무대에서 또 한번 실력을 입증했다. 

제5회 홍범도장군배와 제34회 경찰청장기 전국사격대회 여자 25m 화약권총 개인전에서 모두 우승을 차지하며 2관왕에 올랐다.

두 대회는 지난 3일부터 13일까지 잇달아 열렸으며, 곽 선수는 흔들림 없는 기량으로 정상에 올랐다.

남구청 사격팀의 상승세도 이어지고 있다. 한유정, 강민정, 곽나경, 송현지 선수로 구성된 팀은 지난 6월 회장기 전국사격대회 단체전에서 3위를 차지했다.

박은영 감독은 “흔들림 없는 훈련이 좋은 결과로 이어졌다”며 선수들의 노고를 칭찬했다. 또 “전국체전을 앞두고 집중력을 더욱 높여 더 좋은 성과를 거두겠다”고 다짐했다.

곽나경 선수는 “이번 성과는 팀 전체의 노력 덕분”이라며 동료들에게 공을 돌렸다. 이어 “다가오는 경호처장기와 전국체전에서도 최선을 다하겠다”고 각오를 밝혔다.

조재구 남구청장은 “선수들과 감독의 땀과 노력이 빚어낸 값진 성과”라며 “구민의 성원 속에 남구 체육이 더 크게 도약할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
