【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 남구가 대구시민주간을 맞아 2.28 민주운동 65주년을 기념하며 사진전을 개최한다고 12일 밝혔다.

‘2.28민주운동 65주년 기념 사진전-그날의 함성’은 오는 17일부터 3월 17일까지 배나무샘골 마을역사관에서 진행된다.

남구와 2.28민주운동기념사업회의 협업을 통해 한국 민주화 운동의 시발점으로 평가받는 2.28민주운동 당시의 역사적 현장을 담은 사진 20여 점과 아카이브 영상 기록물 등이 전시될 예정이다.

누구나 무료로 관람할 수 있으며 방문객들을 위한 전시회 도록과 2·28 민주운동 기념품도 마련되어 있다.

조재구 남구청장은 “2.28 민주운동의 역사적 가치를 널리 알리고, 민주주의의 소중함을 되새기는 뜻 깊은 시간이 되기를 바란다”고 밝혔다.

The ‘February 28th Democratic Movement 65th Anniversary Photo Exhibition - Shouts of That Day’ will be held from the 17th to March 17th at the Baenamu Saemgol Village History Museum.

Through collaboration between Nam-gu and the February 28th Democratic Movement Commemoration Association, approximately 20 photos and archive video records of the historical site of the February 28th Democratic Movement, which is considered the starting point of the Korean democratization movement, will be exhibited.

Anyone can view the exhibition for free, and an exhibition catalog and February 28th Democratic Movement souvenirs will also be provided for visitors.

Nam-gu Mayor Cho Jae-gu said, “I hope this will be a meaningful time to widely publicize the historical value of the February 28th Democratic Movement and to reflect on the importance of democracy.”
