【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=권영진 국민의힘 의원은 두류3동 우리동네살리기 사업이 국토교통부 공모에 최종 선정됐다고 3일 밝혔다.

총사업비 104억1900만원 규모로 추진되는 이번 사업은 내년부터 4년간 진행된다.

사업의 핵심은 노후화된 주거지 개선과 생활 SOC 확충을 통한 지역 주민들의 생활환경 개선이다. 노후된 금봉경로당을 포함해 주거와 복지 인프라가 부족했던 두류3동에 주민 맞춤형 복합커뮤니티 공간이 들어선다.

가장 주목되는 사업은 지상 4층 규모의 두류온센터 신축이다. 기존 금봉경로당을 포함해 마을관리사무소, 다목적 공간 등을 갖춘 주민 복합커뮤니티 시설로 조성된다. 경로당과 휴게공간, 건강관리실은 물론 도시재생 현장지원센터, 교육실, 동아리방, 주민 프로그램을 위한 다목적 교육실까지 들어선다.

노후 주택 집수리 지원사업도 함께 진행된다. 20년 이상 된 건축물에 대한 집수리를 지원하고, 주택단위 집수리와 골목길 환경정비를 연계한 동행사업으로 추진된다.

마을 안전성 강화를 위한 사업도 포함됐다. 위험구역의 노후 CCTV 교체와 신규 설치, 쓰레기 무단투기 방지용 CCTV 설치, 어두운 골목길에 태양광 바닥조명을 설치해 안전마을을 조성한다.

주차 문제 해결을 위한 마을 거점 주차장도 만든다. 불법 주정차를 줄이고 보행환경을 개선해 주민 편익을 높인다는 계획이다.

권영진 의원은 "지속적인 인구감소와 고령화, 지역경제 침체, 정주환경 노후화 등이 우리 지역의 현실"이라며 "특히 두류3동은 노후된 금봉경로당을 포함해 주거와 복지 인프라가 상대적으로 부족해 주민들의 불편이 컸던 지역"이라고 말했다.

이어 "이번 사업 선정을 계기로 금봉경로당을 이용하는 어르신들과 지역주민들의 삶의 질이 대폭 향상될 수 있는 전환점이 되기를 바란다"고 기대감을 표했다.

권 의원은 "앞으로도 지역 친화적인 사업들을 통해 주민들이 행복한 생활환경을 만들어가겠다"며 "두류3동을 포함한 달서구병 전역이 살기 좋은 동네로 거듭날 수 있도록 지역의 국회의원으로서 최선을 다하겠다"고 의지를 밝혔다.

People Power Party lawmaker Kwon Young-jin announced on the 3rd that the Duryu 3-dong Our Neighborhood Revitalization Project was selected through a Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport competition.

This project, with a total budget of 10.419 billion won, will run for four years, beginning next year.

The most notable project is the construction of a new four-story Duryu On Center. This multi-purpose community facility will house the existing Geumbong Senior Center, a village management office, and a multi-purpose space. In addition to the senior center, rest areas, and health care facilities, it will also include an urban regeneration support center, training rooms, club rooms, and a multi-purpose training room for resident programs.

A support program for repairing aging housing will also be implemented. This project will support home repairs for buildings over 20 years old, and will be implemented as a companion project linking individual home repairs with alleyway environmental improvements.

Projects to enhance community safety are also included. These include replacing and installing new CCTV cameras in dangerous areas, installing CCTV to prevent illegal dumping, and installing solar-powered floor lighting in dark alleyways to create a safer community.

A community-based parking lot will also be built to address parking issues. The plan is to reduce illegal parking and improve the pedestrian environment, thereby enhancing convenience for residents.

Councilmember Kwon Young-jin stated, "Continuous population decline and aging, a stagnant local economy, and an aging residential environment are realities in our region." He added, "Duryu 3-dong, in particular, has suffered significant inconveniences due to a relative lack of housing and welfare infrastructure, including the aging Geumbong Senior Center."

He expressed his hope, saying, "I hope this project selection will serve as a turning point for significantly improving the quality of life for seniors who use Geumbong Senior Center and local residents."

Rep. Kwon stated, "I will continue to create a happy living environment for residents through community-friendly projects," and "As a local assemblyman, I will do my best to ensure that the entire Dalseo-gu district, including Duryu 3-dong, can be reborn as a place to live."
